OMAHA, Nebraska - There will be more road construction on Douglas Street downtown this weekend.
The middle lanes of Douglas will be closed between 11th and 14th as work on the Riverfront Revitalization Project continues. Crews will be working on the drain on the north side of the Gene Leahy Mall.
This is in addition to the two south lanes on Douglas between 11th and 14th already closed. They should reopen in mid-December. Only one lane on Douglas Street will be open this weekend so drivers are asked to plan in advance.
