OMAHA, Nebraska - It could be a challenging drive for holiday travelers in Nebraska ahead of Thanksgiving.
A Winter Storm Warning is being posted by the National Weather Service for Western Nebraska Tuesday into Wednesday, and a Winter Storm Watch is posted closer to Omaha, just to the west and north.
Omaha is likely to get 1-3 inches of snow, but just to the west and north of Omaha, expected snow totals quickly go higher.
With strong winds also expected, blowing and drifting snow is likely, and drivers may have white out conditions at times.
