BELLEVUE, Nebraska - The Bellevue Police Department has welcomed Quinn to the force. Quinn is a 2 year old black Labrador and is their latest Electronic Storage Device K-9. Quinn is assigned to Cyber Crimes Detective Roy Howell and will assist in the location of electronic devices that may contain contraband.
Officer Quinn will be available for investigations in the City of Bellevue but Detective Howell and Quinn will also assist other local law enforcement agencies.
Quinn is the first known Electronic Storage Device K-9 in the State of Nebraska.
The costs connected to obtaining Quinn were covered by a generous donation from a local donor through the Bellevue Public Safety Foundation.
