OMAHA, Nebraska - The Nebraska Humane Society needs good homes for dogs. In an effort to find them their forever home, adoption fees for all dogs two years and older is $75 until Black Friday.
They currently have 69 dogs waiting for new homes and more are waiting in the back for kennel space.
There are also plenty of cats that also need homes. All cats 6 months and up are free and kittens under 6 months are $75 - and they are two for one.
The Nebraska Humane Society says now is the time to adopt. For every animal that finds a new home, two lives are saved, the one that is adopted and the one who can take his kennel.
All of the animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped and have their first round of shots.
