LINCOLN, Nebraska - Lincoln Police found a wanted woman hiding under a bed. Police were called to a home on E Street Tuesday just before 8 p.m. after receiving information about a woman who had violated her probation.
Police talked to 43 year old Jamie Akin who told officers that 37 year old Melissa Callahan was no longer at that location. Officers then obtained a search warrant and fouled Callahan hiding under a bed in a basement bedroom.
Officers also found two digital scales and two glass pipes containing suspected methamphetamine.
Callahan then taken into custody on her probation violation. Akin was cited for false reporting.
