OMAHA, Nebraska - The Sons of Italy sign is back up on the building on 10th Street. The building was destroyed by fire back in 2017.
Sons of Italy President Dan Matuella tells 6 News, There’s a lot of heritage, a lot of history, a lot of culture you know, this is Little Italy. Now it has happened and we’re time away for it to happen again. When the sign goes up, it’s real.”
They hope to be serving up their traditional spaghetti dinners again soon.
Matuella says the 10th Street visionary group is putting their plans into action and they hope to be the "crown jewel within that area".
