A South Dakota man was killed, and a woman and five-year-old twins were injured after a driver lost control of his car on Interstate -29, crossed into oncoming traffic, and hit their pickup near Mondamin, in western Iowa Friday night.
The Iowa State Patrol says 30-year-old Scott Munce of Sioux Falls drifted off the road, and hit a guard rail, then flew back into oncoming traffic, his Toyota Camry slamming into a Chevy Silverado pickup.
Munce was pronounced dead at the scene. The 40-year old Columbia, Missouri woman driving the pickup and the twins with her were taken to the hospital, but did not appear to suffer life-threatening injuries.
