A 22 year old woman was seriously injured after the electric scooter she was riding was struck by a car near 49th and Cass in the Dundee area Sunday afternoon.
Omaha Police say the woman, who's in her early 20's, was eastbound on Cass on the scooter around 3:30 p.m. when officers said she ran through a stop sign at 49th Street. She collided with a southbound Tesla.
She was taken to a hospital with several injuries but she is expected to recover. The circumstances of the accident remain under investigation.
