What is a bridge without a troll? Now the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge has one of its own. OMAR the troll now sits under the bridge. OMAR stands for Omaha Metro Area River and was created by Omaha artist John Lajba. He also created the "Road to Omaha" sculpture outside of TD Ameritrade Park and the bronze statues at the Durham Museum.
OMAR is expected to be a popular attraction. There is even a book, "OMAR Finds a Home". Visit Omaha donated more than 600 copies to Omaha 3rd grade classes.
