Omaha gas prices dropping ahead of Labor Day holiday weekend GAS MAP

OMAHA, Nebraska - Good news if you’re driving over the Labor Day holiday, gas prices are down.

The national average prices for a gallon of regular unleaded is 12-cents per gallon less than last month, and 29-cents less than a year ago. The national average is running $2.58 per gallon this morning.

Nebraska and Iowa are less than that, with an average price of $2.47 per gallon in Nebraska, and $2.42 in Iowa.

Omaha and Council Bluffs, Iowa are both at the low end of prices in the region, at $2.37. Only Columbus, Nebraska is lower, reported at $2.30.
