A one-year-old boy is dead after being left in a vehicle in Columbus, Nebraska on Wednesday.
The Columbus Police Department reports that officers were called just before 6 p.m.A 37 year old woman reported that she had left the child in her vehicle parked at work from 8 a.m. until 5:40 p.m.
Officials determined the child's death accidental saying the woman's daily routine had been disrupted.The names of the mother and child have not been released.
Wednesday's high temperature in Columbus Wednesday was 86 degrees.
