Property Tax Deadline Is Wednesday

A reminder to homeowners in Douglas County. The Treasurer's Office reminds those with property that the second half of 2018 real estate taxes is due on Wednesday, July 31st. If they are not paid on time there could be a penalty added to the tab.

Douglas County Treasurer John Ewing says the five Treasurer's Offices will be open an extra half-hour on Wednesday, July 31st until 4:30 for those wanting to pay the bill in person. There are also drop boxes available in the offices for those who want to avoid waiting in line. There is also a drop box in the downtown office but it is not open to walk-in traffic.

Other options are paying through the mail, online or by phone.

Anyone with questions about their Real Estate payments should call 402-444-7103.
