Let the outrage begin! There's a new 007 coming sooner rather than later.
CLICK HERE for the details on the 25th Bond movie introducing us to a new Agent 007. And this time, the character will be a black woman! Important distinction, 007 will be a black woman, not James Bond. The numbers get reassigned to new agents when one retires/is killed. The new Bond movie allegedly sees James retire, a new 007 takes over, and Bond must return again to save the day.
I'm OK with this. It's been rumored that 007 would be black for so long, I'm glad they finally just did it. Daniel Craig has said each of the last three Bond movies would be his last. So, it's nice to see him live up to his word, even though (hot take) I think his Bond movies are the best. He's not the best James Bond, the Daniel Craig Bond movies are the best. Again, important distinction.
I'm sure we'll hear a bunch of news about people being outraged, but so far I haven't seen it. Which is good.
Bond 25 is slated to hit theaters April 8th of next year, but has been hindered by on-set accidents and bad PR.
