Update: A crop dusting commercial helicopter crashed Tuesday evening near 230th and Highway 92, just south of the Council Bluffs Airport.
Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Office reports the crash happened when the helicopter tried to land on the back of a truck. They were attempting to refill with chemicals.
the pilot is a man in is 50's was taken to a Council Bluffs hospital with minor injuries. It is not yet known how the helicopter landed on its side
Officials here are working with federal authorities.
A helicopter crashed just after 6:30 Tuesday evening near 230th and Highway 92 in Council Bluffs. That is located just south of the Council Bluffs Airport. There are no reports of injuries.
