There could be more details released Thursday afternoon regarding the horrific crash late Monday night that killed four Gretna High School girls and injured a fifth.
Sarpy County Sheriff Jeff Davis along with Gretna Public Schools Superintendent Kevin Riley and Chief Deputy Bonnie Moore from the County Attorney's Office will hold a news conference to provide more details into the fiery crash near 180th and Platteview Road.
Authorities haven't been able to release many details since Monday night. They say the car carrying the girls struck a guardrail, went into a ravine and caught fire. Four of the girls died at the scene. The fifth was able to crawl out of the car and was taken to a Lincoln hospital to be treated for burns.
