For the second time this week, semi-trucks hauling windmill blades snarled traffic on I-680 near Maple Street. There is a slight curve in the road there and traffic restriction signs are in place.
Nebraska DOT sent out a tweet earlier on Thursday that the northbound over-sized load would end up initially blocking the right lane. The trucks had to turn around and then head south on I-680.
A similar issue happened last Saturday that also slowed traffic on I-680.
