The Papio Greens Golf Center in Papillion is closed. This comes as a big surprise to many, including Tisha Edwards. She tells WOWT 6 News, "I cried.This has been a very big part of my family for over 15 years." She said Papio Greens was a regular stopping place for her family.
Papio Greens opened in 2001 .Owners posted their goodbye on Facebook in late March saying the owners decided to close it for good.
WOWT 6 News reports a crew was on site Thursday and they were getting the golf equipment ready to be sold. The property was bought by Southridge Church in 2010 and they had no comment.
