Bellevue Police say a six-year-old girl who was struck by an SUV Sunday night has died. Officers were called to the area of 23rd and Emiline, just south of Harrison, around 8 p.m.
Police say the large SUV was parked on the street. When the driver tried to pull away, the child ran in front of or alongside the vehicle and was hit.
The girl was taken to the hospital where she died. Her name has not been released.
