Firefighters rescued two cats from a burning home at 84th and Keystone Drive around 5:30 Friday afternoon.
Fire crews arrived to find smoke coming from an attached garage.
Eight people who lived there were able to get out before firefighters arrived.The fire was quickly contained and did not spread.
The Red Cross, Nebraska Humane Society and utility crews arrived at the location.The home will need repairs before they are allowed to return.
No injuries were reported.
