Husker fans attending the spring game on Saturday will have a chance to see the "Remembering Our Fallen" display near the east end of the Husker Nation Pavilion area.
The one-of-a-kind display is presented by Patriotic Productions and is an all-encompassing national memorial that includes our country's military fallen , who died while deployed in The War on Terror since September 11, 2001.
"This is 32 towers, each one ten foot tall, containing photos of over 5,000 of the fallen in the nation in the War on Terror since 911," says Bill Williams with Patriotic Productions.
The exhibit will be set up Friday afternoon near the Ed Weir Track. The towers will be lit up Friday night and the Marine Corps Cornhusker Detachment will stand guard at the Pavilion.
Gold Star Families will attend the game and will be honored as a group at the game. The display will be from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
