The Douglas County Sheriff's Office released more details in Tuesday's shooting at 4602 N. 134th Avenue.
Chief Deputy Tom Wheeler tells NewsRadio 1110 KFAB, "Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a residence near 154th and Sahler after a male caller to 911 stated there had been a shooting and hung up."
Deputies arrived at 5:04 and found 28 year old Ashley Stephens dead from an apparent gunshot wound.Deputies also located 61 year old Jonathan Hartley with an apparent gunshot would.A firearm was found near Hartley who was transported to a hospital with a life-threatening injury.
Stephens and Hartley were believed to be in a domestic relationship.This case is being investigated as a homicide and attempted suicide.
