An Omaha man is recovering after being stabbed and robbed Sunday morning.
Omaha Police say officers were called to Bergan Mercy around 10:45 to investigate a report of a cutting victim who was at the hospital. Officers spoke with the victim, 24 year old Fredtavis Coanner, who initially said he was in an accident, but then admitted that he was robbed and cut near 24th and Q Street.
Coanner said that six suspects took his phone, clothes and shoes and cut him with an unknown object. His injuries are not considered life threatening and the investigation is ongoing.
