Omaha, NE - Here we go, again. Another snow storm is moving across Nebraska and Iowa Saturday afternoon into Sunday. The National Weather Service is issuing a Winter Weather Advisory from 3 p.m. Saturday to 6:00 a.m. Sunday for Eastern Nebraska and into Western Iowa.
The snow will begin in the Southwest part of the state, and move across Iowa to the Northeast. The snow start times map is below.
Once the snow begins, roads conditions will quickly deteriorate as they become snow covered and slick, but the National Weather Service says winds will stay low so only minor blowing and drifting is expected in open areas.
