A Bellevue middle school teacher has been arrested for possession of child pornography. Police say 46-year-old Roger Jaeger was taken into custody at Logan Fontenelle Middle School Friday morning and escorted out of the school.
The investigation began Thursday when police were called to Affordable Computer Repair at 22nd and Franklin regarding possible child pornography on a computer being repaired. A search warrant was executed on the computer and police say hundreds of suspected child porn images were found.
The customer was identified as Jaeger and a search warrant was obtained for Jaeger and his home. Investigators then went to the school where they made the arrest. Steven Nickerson Sr. owns and operates the computer repair shop and came across the images while working on Jaeger's computer.
"You see something suspicious and you take a closer look," Nickerson says. "You're obligated by law to report it."
Nickerson says it's only the second time in 16 years he's seen something anything suspicious. Jaeger was booked into the Sarpy County Jail on numerous counts of Possession of Child Pornography
