The Douglas County Health Department says three more people have died from the flu this season. There have now been seven adult flu deaths in Douglas County since the end of September.
The CDC is reporting widespread flu activity throughout Douglas County. A total of 2,583 confirmed cases of flu have been reported in across the county since Sept. 30, 2018. 302 cases alone were reported last week.
A 12 year old boy from Beatrice also died from the flu in late December.
