Funeral services have been set for Anne Boyle, a former Public Service Commissioner and former State Chair of the Nebraska Democratic Party.
Boyle died Saturday night at age 75 after suffering a stroke last Monday. Mrs. Boyle died peacefully at home, surrounded by family, just after 7:30 p.m.
In the fall of 2013, Mrs. Boyle announced that she would wrap-up her PSC service at the end of her term in January 2015. Mrs. Boyle is the wife of Douglas County Commissioner and former Omaha Mayor Mike Boyle.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Feb. 9 at Heafey Hoffman Dworak Cutler at 78th and West Center Road. The visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with funeral services following.
