Omaha Police are investigating several cases of sexual assault believed to have happened at an in-home daycare.
The suspect in the assaults is the fourteen year old son of the daycare owner. According to police reports, the teen admitted to assaulting three girls at the daycare near 60th and Maple. The daycare provider, 33 year old Danielle Bruning, reached out to law enforcement on Monday after her son allegedly sexually abused at least one of the children in her care. The teen then later reportedly admitted to officers that he had assaulted three girls in total.
The girls were between the ages of four and ten when the crimes are said to have taken place between February and March of 2018. Police and the county attorney said the investigation is in the early stages.
