The Douglas County Health Department is reporting two more flu deaths this season. The total of adult flu deaths countywide is now four. In Beatrice a 12 year old boy died from flu related complications in late December.
A total of 1,833 confirmed cases of flu have been reported in Douglas County since Sept. 30. 315 cases were reported last week.
The CDC is reporting widespread flu activity throughout Douglas County.
Health officials say it's not too late to get a flu shot. Washing your hands frequently can also help prevent the spread of the flu.
