A man is in serious condition after being shot Thursday night.
Around 11:00, Omaha Police were dispatched to the area for of 90th and Boyd for a shots fired call. While they were searching the area, they were waved down to the Richland Apartments located at 88th Ave and Boyd.
Once at the complex, officers found a man in his early 20's suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital in serious condition, but is expected to recover.
After speaking with witnesses and collecting evidence, police believe that the victim was inside his apartment at the time of the shooting. Police say the suspect, or suspects, shot at the apartment from the parking lot. They say the bullets broke the windows and hit the victim.
No details on any suspects or the victim's identity have been provided at this time.
