Omaha Police say four children are safe after a harrowing experience Wednesday night. Police say the kids were taken along with the truck they were in near 36th and Charles around 6:00.
The children were located and are safe. The truck was abandoned a couple blocks away.
Police believe the thief didn't know the children were in the truck. They don't have a good description of the suspect.
Police are still searching for the thief.
