Likely presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren will visit Council Bluffs and three other Iowa communities this weekend.
Warren first announced on Monday that she was launching an exploratory committee for president. The event is one of the first events for her 2020 exploratory committee. The Massachusetts democrat will appear Friday evening at McCoy's Bar Patio and Grill at 1900 Madison Ave.
Manager Katie Larson says they are hard at work preparing for the event. "Reconstructing out room so we can have auditorium style seating and areas set up for her to do her private meetings with people."
The doors will open at 5:00 and the event begins at 6:00. This event is free and open to the public, but you are asked to RSVP on Facebook event.
