Serial Killer Could Have Murdered Omaha Woman Forty Years Ago

Sam Little is a self-professed serial killer who has confessed to dozens of murders across the country and local authorities are looking to see if his bloody trail went through Omaha decades ago.

Omaha Police are working with Texas Rangers to see if there's a connection between the 78 year old and an unsolved metro murder case from the 1970s. Little is serving a life sentence for strangling three women in Los Angeles in the late 80s.

He was charged with another murder this summer. That one was in Texas where he was extradited to and according to the district attorney there where he confessed to more than 90 murders across the country. One of them possibly in South Omaha.

On November 16, 1973 the body of 34-year-old Agatha White Buffalo was found in a barrel near 27th and N streets. The woman had been strangled. Omaha detectives are looking into her death and trying to find relatives who might be able to help connect any missing pieces to cold case from the 1970s.

So far, Sam Little, who is 78, has confessed to murders across the country dating back to 1970.
