Bond was set on Wednesday for the 29 year old man accused of selling alcohol to minors prior to an Elkhorn teen's death.
Kevin Hart's bond was set at $100,000 meaning he would need to put up $10,000 cash to get out of jail. He was arrested Monday and booked for Selling Alcohol to Minors Resulting in Injury of Death. Hart waived his preliminary hearing and will face trial in connection with alcohol sales that have been linked to a crash that claimed the life of seventeen year old George Gervase in October.
Police said Gervase was going speeding on 192nd Street near Pacific when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the median, sheared off a wooden power pole and hit a pine tree. The high school junior was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Hart worked at the Kwik Shop at 156th and Blondo where prosecutors allege he had been selling alcohol to minors.
