One person is in custody after a pursuit that caused an Elkhorn school to go into lockout.
Manchester Elementary near 168th and Maple was put under lockout just before 11:00 Tuesday morning while police searched for a pursuit suspect in the area.
Law enforcement spotted a stolen vehicle headed south near 180th and Maple streets leading Douglas County Sheriff's deputies to establish a parameter in the area with Nebraska State Patrol and Omaha Police.
The stolen vehicle was found abandoned in the area nearby and one person was taken into custody near 180th and Blondo. Authorities are still searching for a possible second suspect. A law enforcement helicopter is aiding in the search.
The incident remains under investigation.
