One person is dead after a crash in western Douglas County Friday afternoon. It happened near 245th and Q Streets, just west of the Elkhorn River around 1:30.
Douglas County Sheriff's investigators say a tandem dump truck and a car were traveling on opposite sides of the road when the crash happened. The truck tipped over on it's side. The woman's name has not been released.
The truck driver was not seriously hurt. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
