Omaha Police say a man was killed and another person injured in a three vehicle crash around 8:45 Wednesday morning near 94th and Maple.
Sergeant Doug Klein says according to witnesses "the driver of a Ford Escape was eastbound and began weaving. It went off the roadway, came back on and drifted back across both lanes." The Escape then went over the center median and struck a westbound pickup and Volkswagen nearly head on.
The Escape driver, 49 year old Kenneth Evans, was pronounced dead at the scene. The pickup driver suffered a knee injury and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The other driver and a passenger were not injured.
