Omaha Police say a man was killed in a one vehicle crash near 192nd and Pacific Friday morning. The crash happened around 6:30.
The crash happened just after 6:30 Friday morning and police say the vehicle was southbound on 192nd at the time. "A single vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed lost control and left the roadway to the east, struck a wooden power pole," Sergeant Jason Menning says. "There was one occupant in the vehicle, we believe it's a young adult, male."
Menning says the unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene. Traffic was shut down at 192nd and Pacific as police investigated the crash.
