Omaha Police have identified the man who was struck and killed by a minivan Wednesday evening near 101st and Maple.
Investigators say 55 year old David Grinbergs was trying to cross Maple from south to north and was not in a marked crosswalk.
He was struck by the westbound van. Grinbergs was taken to Nebraska Medicine where he died. The van driver was not injured. Police have not said whether the driver will face any citations.
