Lincoln Police have arrested a man on drug charges after he called authorities to report a man with a gun outside his hotel room.
Authorities say just after 8:00 Tuesday night, 29 year old Jordan Russell called dispatch and claimed that a man dressed in all camouflage was laying in the hallway outside his hotel room with a gun. When officers responded, they found no one matching that description.
Russell was contacted in his room and officers found syringes with suspected methamphetamine and a .380 handgun. He was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Firearm While in Commission of a Felony.
