A 25 year old woman has died after being run over by a car in Lincoln.
Lincoln Police say at 6:00 Wednesday night, officers were called to the area of 19th and Adams Street for a report of an injury accident. Witnesses reported that the victim either fell or jumped from the vehicle and it appeared that the rear tire of the vehicle may have run over her head.
The 25 year old woman was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries to her head and later died at the hospital. The driver, 31 year old Seth Noble was arrested for DUI.
The investigation is ongoing and the victim’s name has not been released at this time as police work to notify her family.
