A Nebraska woman was one of over two dozen victims injured in a fatal Greyhound bus crash in New Mexico.
Rachel Cunningham, a 28 year old from Lincoln, was asleep on the bus when she woke up to chaos. Eight people were killed and 25 injured when a semi blew a tire, crossed a median and smashed into the bus on Interstate 40 on Thursday. Cunningham was able to climb out of a window, down a ladder, and help others to safety. Thanks to some EMT training, she was able to provide medical help at the scene.
Cunningham was in the process of moving when the crash happened and has not been able to get her personal items back as Greyhound still has all of the luggage and carry-on bags.
