Council Bluffs police officers were sent to 1400 Avenue A at 7 a.m. Saturday after getting a report that a man was bleeding from his abdomen. He told officers he had been stabbed by a man he did not know. The suspect also took the man's backpack.
The victim was taken to an Omaha hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
