Lincoln Police say a pizza delivery driver was targeted by a food thief Monday night. Police say shortly before 5:30 p.m, a Pizza Hut delivery driver reported she was sent to 1127 Washington Street.
However, the resident inside apartment #2 said they did not place the order. While the delivery driver stepped outside to call the phone number on the order, she saw a resident from another apartment get into her delivery vehicle and steal another order of food.
Officers then contacted the resident inside the second apartment and found one of their names was on the original food order.
Police cited James Lasu for theft and entering a motor vehicle without permission.
