A Tuesday morning power outage has left thousands of OPPD customers in the dark.
The outage affected about 2,300 people from Military Road to West Maple and from 78th to 96th Street. OPPD officials say the cause of the northwest Omaha outage was identified as a bad underground cable. They say crews have managed to restore power to about 90 percent of those impacted.
Crews are continuing to make repairs to bring all customers back online.
