A man pumping gas at the Bucky's near 30th and Dodge was shot and critically wounded Sunday morning.
Police say the man was pumping gas around 6:00 a.m. when two men approached him, shot him in the chest and drove off in his vehicle.
Officers found the man on the ground between the gas pumps when they arrived. Paramedics transported the victim to the Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition with life threatening injuries.
The two men are believed to have fled south on 30th Street in a gold 2000 Nissan Maxima. If anyone has information on either shooting or sees the vehicle, contact Crime Stoppers at (402) 444-STOP.
Earlier in the morning another man was shot and ended up at the same Bucky's. 41 year old Johnny Brown told police he was fighting with someone when they pulled out a gun and shot him. His injuries are not life-threatening.
