A motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident just after 5 p.m. Friday near 60th and Pratt Street.
Investigators say the motorcyclist, 57 year old Danny Coleman of Omaha was southbound on 60th Street and was hit by a eastbound pickup making a turn onto 60th Street.
Coleman was taken to a hospital in serious condition with chest, abdomen and shoulder injuries. He should recover. Coleman was wearing a helmet and was cited for careless driving.
The pickup driver, 53 year old Pamela Scott of Omaha was not hurt. She was cited for making an improper turn and having no operator’s license with her.
