Nebraska law enforcement have issued an Amber Alert as they search for a young child that they believe is in danger. Six week old Betty Zamora was last seen at 1900 Ash Cheyenne Villa Apartments near Sidney, Nebraska on Wednesday.
The child may be in the company of 37-year old Maria V. Campa and 41-year old Carlos Zamora Jr. Arrest warrants out of Cheyenne County, Nebraska for felony custody violation have been issued for Campa and Zamora.
Authorities say Zamora has a history of resisting law enforcement. They may be traveling in a light colored medium sized SUV, possibly a Ford Expedition or Explorer. License plate information is unknown and the direction the vehicle was traveling is not known.
