An Omaha woman was injured after crashing into two semi's on I-80 near 20th Street just before 11:00 Friday morning. The crash shut down eastbound lanes were closed at the I-480 split for more than an hour.
Omaha Police say a 2017 Hyundai Elantra was eastbound in the center lane when it swerved to the right. The Hyundai struck a black Kenworth semi tractor trailer then swerved back to left, hitting the front of a Freightliner semi.
The Hyundai then struck the Freightliner several more times before coming to rest in two different lanes of traffic. 33 year old Elizabeth Iwanski was taken to the hospital to be treated for back and leg injuries. A two year old child that was in a rear passenger seat was uninjured.
