The pedestrian hit by a vehicle Tuesday at 11th and Park Avenue died at a hospital on July 4th.
At 9:09 p.m. on July 3rd, officers were called to that address for a personal injury accident. A 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer was northbound on Park Avenue when a pedestrian crossed the street. Police say that 49 year old Michael Hodd was not in a crosswalk. He suffered a chest injury and was transported to a hospital in critical condition. An autopsy was performed today.
The driver, 40 year old John Flowers of Omaha was not injured in the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
