In a federal courtoom in Omaha Wednesday morning Offutt Airman 1st Class Timothy Wilsey was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole for the murder of fellow Airman Rhianda Dillard two years ago.
Wilsey pleaded guilty to the premeditated murder. Wednesday's sentence also carries a dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, reduction in grade to E-1 and a reprimand.
Wilsey will be transported to a federal prison facility to serve his sentence. Dillard's body was found in her dormitory at Offutt Air Force Base in August, 2016.
At the time of her death she was assigned to the 55th Strategic Communications Squadron at Offutt.
